Just mount the transmitter near your door and plug the receiver in to a 120v wall outlet anywhere in your home(this will save you from having to buy batteries!). When the transmitter button is pressed a pleasant chime will sound from a distance up to 300 feet open air. Multiple Wireless Button units can be purchased and used at different doors. You can choose from 3 different tones- 8 note Westminster or 2 note ding dong or 1 note ding. Dimensions of the chime are 3 one-eights inches x 4 and three-eights inches.
