 A bit heavy for running, works on dogs.Feb 18, 2010

Bought this item to wear when running. Sprayed 2 chasing dogs so far, stops them in their tracks. The police model has a more robust case than the personal model, and the carry position using the belt clip is upside down. I have used the personal model in the past and am going back to it for running. The personal model comes in 2 sizes, the larger being the same mace content as the police with the same spray distance, but the case is minimized and weighs less and has a top side up belt clip carry. Will keep the police model in the house for non-lethal defense.

Sprays quite a good distance 12+ feet, tear and pepper combo is strong enough that just spraying it close to a loose running animal keeps it at a safe distance from you and your leashed pet! Will buy again shipped fast.

I have bought ten of these because I give them to family members, coworkers, and friends that need a compact and portable means of self defense. If all that gets between my five foot tall mother and some scumbag that means to assault her is this little bottle, then I want her to have the most bang that she can yield. I am getting her comfortable with firearms to get her concealed license, but in the meantime, I feel better about her carrying the Triple Action Pepper Spray that has OC spray AND TEAR GAS in it. I do have a concealed carry license but I like having this on me when I jog or in places that firearms are not permitted. At the prices offered online for this sized bottle, or the smaller ones, you can put a means to defend oneself in all your loved ones' hands. I try to always get the Triple Action spray for the reasons above....OC SPRAY AND TEAR GAS!!!
I gave a few bottles to my cousin who said she sprayed some in front of her and walked into it like she would perfume, just to test it out, and she said she felt its effects on her for the entire day. She said her nose was irritated and bled all day as well. That's some gooooood stuff.

A good daily carry for the ladies. No one thing can keep you safe but the total sum of ones actions and the risks that they bring. Be smart out there kids.
