THIS MODEL IS JUST AS GOOD AS ANY OTHER DIRECTED ELECTRONICS PRODUCT. EVERYTHING THAT CAME WITH THE ALARM WORKS VERY WELL. HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT. IT COMES WITH A GREAT FEATURE THAT IF YOU FORGET TO LOCK THE DOORS OR ACTIVATE THE ALARM AFTER 20 SECONDS THE DOORS WILL LOCK AND ACTIVATE THE ALARM FOR YOU AUTOMATICALLY. THIS ALARM HAS VERY GOOD RANGE. I BELIEVE THE PACKAGE SAID SOMETHING AROUND A QUARTER MILE.Python 902 447 Generation 2 Ask LCD 2-Way Security System

just like the viper 5002 except in BLACKApr 07, 2009

i was searching for an alarm by Directed Electronics in black, not sure why all the viper alarms are in that 'royal' blue. i found this one did some research & it seems just like the 5002. it actually comes with a different (better looking) secondary remote. it's color is black/silver. i have 4 out of the 5 auxs being used, and everything works fine. i have remote start being used (does NOT come with alarm, i have factory remote start)& u press lock/unlock to start the vehicle. it automatically locks the doors if they are not locked. the range is pretty good, i believe it's a quarter mile (i think). all in all great for the money, the alarm shops charge $350-$399 (installed BASIC parts), & that is not for adding or applying anything additional, remote start, horn honk, etc. & it is normally for a very small selection of vehicles. look for more of a price range of $450-$600 installed.

every thing works as it says , had some trouble getting it to realize a door was open the nusense thing does not work does not shut off after third cycle maybe i dont know what im doing
