Great StuffJan 12, 2007
By Concerned Buyer I have only had this item for 2 days so far, but it seems to work great. It is very easy to install and works great with a vcr. The cameras aren't real big and bulky either because my wife didn't want anything bulky. So far so good especially for the price.

Very pleased with display!Jan 26, 2010
By D. Masselink I just installed this 2-camera system at our "Mom-andPop" used-car lot, and am VERY happy with how well it works! I couldn't see the driveway from my office, and would have to get up and walk to the front door if our driveway alert sounded, to see if it was a customer or just someone turning around. Now I have a very clear picture of our drive (about 70 feet away); plus our side entrance (50' away).
The 60' of supplied cable per camera was ample to reach from the cameras to my office; and their small size (1/8th of an inch?) made tucking them out of sight into the J-channel on our vinyl siding very easy - the hardest part was drilling the hole through the wall into my office to run the cable into the inside of the building. I had pondered using a wireless system - but have read of too many reports of problems between wireless cameras and computer wi-fi systems. If one stupid hole was all that stood between me and a clear picture of our property - then that's a small problem indeed.
You can "focus" the cameras by screwing the lens in/out; and the 3-way mount lets you install the camera anywhere. It appears you could hang the cameras from the ceiling/eaves by mounting the baseplate to the top of the camera if need be.
The picture on the monitor is clear; and the microphones work very well. How long will it last?? Who knows - but at $73 if it only lasts a year, it was still worth it as far as I'm concerned. And I'd buy another one in a heartbeat (the wires are already run!) This is a great little camera system!

Q-see security systemJun 01, 2008
By J. Hain Overall we are pleased with this product. We are using this product as child monitors. The system comes with two (2) sixty foot cables. This helped as due to system being hardwired, I had to go under the house to wire the cameras to the monitor. picture very clear. we tried several wireless monitors but they all had interference issues. this is a nice buy to get two cameras and monitor for $60. Only problem we have is the "nightvision" is not good at all passed about 2 or 3 feet. we are trying different nightlights in our kids rooms to improve this. If the night vision were better, even at 6 feet, we would rate this at a perfect 5. For the money, i do not feel you can beat this product.

Unbelievable value.Jul 06, 2009
By C. GREEN I have been using this product for the last couple of weeks and I have nothing bad at all to say about it. Bought it on sale for $70 and simply cannot believe how well it works. The cameras are easy to hook up and up and the mics and IR works well. The monitor is clear and bright. Love this and would recommend to anyone.

GREAT INEXPENSIVE UNITSFeb 05, 2009
By Kenneth W. Weigel I bought two of these systems two years ago. They have been working flawlessly all that time. I have them mounted right next to the little TV which sits on top of my computer monitor, so I can watch TV, operate my computer and monitor all 4 corners of the house at the same time, including one at the front door so I can see who is knocking.
I LOVE these systems. They has given me absolutely NO trouble for all of those two years. They even work work pretty well at night. Yes, you have to hardwire it, but those wireless systems don't work well anyway, especially outdoors. AND this one is about the most inexpensive, workable system you will ever see. It is BW, but who needs color anyway, and the cameras are very small and almost unnoticeable.\
