Pure Crap, Please save your Money.Aug 09, 2010
By Madhatter I have never bothered to write a review before, but this think STINKS!!! When I opened the package and took this sucker out it was all beat to hell. It looked like it had been run over by a mack truck then tossed into a wood chipper. But what the hell, I filled this poor thing with butane anyway. Uh-oh! As soon as I tried to light the darn thing I could hear the fuel hissing out of it. I tried to contact the seller via E-mail, but to no avail. I gave them well over a week to contact me back, but alas; it would not be. Even the crap rating I gave their product failed to illicit a response. Which lead me to believe they knew full well this thing was utter junk. Any way, please save your cash, and search for another lighter. This "thing" is sure to disappoint.
P.S. The only thing that angers me more than the quality of this lighter is the fact that I can't give it a negative five stars to balance out the ratings. :) Happy Hunting!

HORRIBLE PRODUCTJul 26, 2010
By GIBBS I PURCHASED THIS LIGHTER EXPECTING IT TO BE A HEAVY DUTY LIGHTER. IT CAME WITH THE TOP BROKEN AND THE LIGHTER WOULD NOT IGNITE. IT FINALLY IGNITED AFTER 5 OR 10 TRIES. IT IS HOLLOW AND LIGHT AND DOES LEAK FROM THE BOTTOM SEAL. I EMAILED THE COMPANY AND THEY TOLD ME TO SEND THE LIGHTER BACK AND THEY WOULD FIX IT, IF THERE WAS A PROBLEM, LIKE I WOULD BE LYING ABOUT A CHEAP LIGHTER. BUT SINCE IT COMES PACKED IT USUALLY IS NOT DAMAGED. SO THEY WANT ME TO SEND A SIX DOLLAR LIGHTER BACK AND PAY TAX ON IT AS WELL. THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND HILARIOUS. THEY SAY YOU COULD TAKE THIS CAMPING, YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF WITH WET MATCHES. MY REVIEW IS SIMPLE, IT IS A HORRIBLE PRODUCT.

This is a joke and I really would question Amazon for allowing such a piece of garbage to be sold on this site. This thing lasted exactly Five(5) days and I didn't keep any of the return information . Needless to say I'll never purchase anything from these folks again.

Typical Quick-E Mart lighterMay 12, 2011
By Mouse Squeez I bought one of these exact same things at the local gas station for about $6. It worked just fine for a few days, until it ran out of fuel. Tried to fill it, and the butane would just hiss right back out. Eventually, I was able to fix the seal, but then the igniter failed, and there's no way to change the batteries. Don't bother.
