Great child window protectionJul 28, 2007

I have casement windows. Installing this product was very easy with four screws to the frame. They are quite secure and have the added safety feature of being easily removed in case of fire or other emergency with two small clips. These clips are hard for a child to use, so I don't think they will "accidentally" open the gate.
To install, they can install screwed into the wall horizontally or vertically and because I have a crank casement, I had one side screwed horizontally and the other vertically. Initially it pressed against the crank mechanism, but I added a small plastic washer and now it sits right over my crank with no interference.
I highly recommend these gates for their ease in installation and secure feel to them.
