powerful, very, very hot spray, just one problemAug 11, 2011
By dave powerful, very, very hot spray, just one problem. Love the large can. easy to grip and point. love in every way except one thing: Wife and I went outside to test fire the thing (NO wind at all), the spray shot out fantastic, I was very careful because I read from another review of a similar wildfire pepper spray that he also test fired outside also with NO wind at all and in his case and my case it blasted great. Because of no wind, I didn't see any come back towards us. About one to two seconds later, my wife and I both had eyes burning and both were coughing. An extremely small amount must have been carried back by the air currents. The wind wasn't blowing at all. Now, I am wondering if we used this stuff indoors our house, would it also mess us up in the fight with an intruder? I wonder if a stream would have been better than the large blast mist spray that comes out of this thing. Has anyone tested this or any pepper spray indoors? With airconditioning running and a fan above our bed I just have to wonder how this product would not affect everyone in the house including an intruder.
