Use as a last resort onlyApr 02, 2010
By The Dude I live in a large apartment complex, thought this product would be good to have. Got on time etc, etc. This thing is big, let me tell you. It even has a safety pin that needs to be pulled out before use. I've used pepper spray before so I know how to handle it, but when I tested this one I was surprised by the amount of pepper spray it unleashed in just a one second burst. In fact I was no where near the pepper spray itself and I started tearing up, coughing, etc. Yes, I made sure the wind wasn't blowing towards me. This makes me feel like its not the best design if the person who shoots it gets symptoms too. SO here's my final review. It definitely works, and well, I wasn't anywhere near the actual blast and I was feeling it, imagine if someone was hit directly in the face with it. But that being said what good is pepper spray if you get pepper sprayed too, although minimally... Use as a last resort only, and do make sure you are spraying with the wind. Also, it may help if your in an extremely well ventilated area, I was in an open area but there were some walls (but far away), maybe this mattered? As with all pepper spray, know that it is somewhat dangerous, and always test our your new product so you know how to use it and how to deal with any potential shortcomings.
Hot and UselessOct 27, 2011

look, here's the deal. This stuff is hot. yes, 18%. It also "paints" red on the attacker making them easier to identify. But, I got the fog instead of the stream. The fog does not go far, I mean, probably 4 feet. Its like spray paint. I dont want to spray paint a dog, I want it down! Down! DOWN! And I should expect 8-10 feet minimum good distance for a pepper spray. I wasted 50 bucks on three cans of this crap. I emailed the company. My advice, get the stream and not the fog. maybe your mileage is better...

Best pepper spray on the market for civilians.Apr 22, 2011
By Matthew R. Terry This stuff is HOT at 18%! It also sprays up to 17 feet so you don't have to get that close. Pistol grip provides excellect ergonomics and targeting. It has a dye inside to later identify the person you sprayed. I've kept this in my home for the last 5 year (now on my second can). At 9oz I feel confident that if I choose to use this pepper spray in defense I have more than enough to light up multiple intruders from head to toe.
